Where is smoking prohibited under the Clean Indoor Air Act?
Smoking is banned in enclosed workplaces, restaurants, stores, schools, public buildings, and most indoor public spaces. Only a few limited exceptions exist, such as certain private residences or specific smoking-permitted businesses listed in the law. Employers must review their workplace to ensure all required areas are smoke-free.
