What scheduling rules apply when minors are employed?
Minors have strict scheduling limits in Delaware. Youth ages 14–15 have limits on daily and weekly hours and cannot work during school hours. Youth ages 16–17 also have restrictions on night work and maximum shift length. Employers must verify age and follow all time-of-day and maximum-hour rules to comply with child labor laws.
