What is wage theft under Delaware law?
Wage theft happens when an employer does not pay workers the wages they have earned. This includes not paying minimum wage, not paying overtime when required, making illegal deductions, or refusing to pay employees for all hours worked. Delaware treats wage theft as a violation of state law and employers may face penalties.
