What immediate medical care must employers provide after an injury?

Employers must make sure the injured worker receives needed medical treatment right away. The worker may choose their own doctor, and the employer or insurer must cover reasonable and necessary medical care related to the injury. Quick care helps prevent the injury from getting worse.
