What happens after an investigation is completed?

 After reviewing all records and statements, Wage & Hour will decide whether a violation occurred. If unpaid wages are owed, the employer must pay them, and additional penalties may apply. If no violation is found, the case is closed. The Department may provide guidance to help employers avoid future issues.
