What happens after a First Report of Injury is filed?

Once the report is filed, the insurance carrier reviews the claim, gathers medical information, and decides whether to accept or deny it. Employers may be asked for payroll records or details about the incident. If the claim is accepted, benefits begin according to Delaware law.
