What behaviors are considered discrimination, harassment, or retaliation?

Discrimination means unfair treatment because of a protected characteristic. Harassment includes repeated or serious unwanted comments or behavior that makes the workplace hostile. Retaliation is when an employer punishes someone for reporting discrimination or joining an investigation; and it is illegal.
