What are an employer’s basic legal responsibilities under anti-discrimination laws?

Employers with 4 or more employees must maintain a workplace free from discrimination and retaliation. They must post required notices, keep policies up to date, investigate complaints promptly, and maintain all records until a case is closed. They must also cooperate with OAD and avoid any action that may appear retaliatory.

Law: Delaware Code Title 19 §§711–712.
