How long do employers have to correct serious hazards?

SafeDE does not set a strict statewide deadline. Instead, the consultant works with you to agree on a reasonable timeframe based on the hazard and available resources. Employers must commit to correcting serious hazards in good faith. As long as you fix the hazards as agreed, no penalties apply.
