What is retaliation and how am I protected?
Retaliation occurs when an employer punishes an employee for reporting discrimination, filing a complaint, participating in an investigation, or opposing unlawful practices.
Delaware law makes retaliation illegal, even if the original discrimination claim is not ultimately proven. Employees have the right to assert their protections without fear of punishment.
