What is prevailing wage?
Prevailing wage is the minimum hourly wage rate that must be paid to workers on certain public construction projects in Delaware. These rates are set by the state and are based on local wage standards for each type of construction work.
If you work on a covered public project, your employer must pay you at least the prevailing wage rate for your job classification.
