What is construction wage fraud?

Construction wage fraud occurs when a contractor fails to pay workers the required prevailing wage on a covered public construction project. This may include underpaying wages, misclassifying workers, or falsifying payroll records.

Wage fraud violates Delaware’s Prevailing Wage Law and may lead to investigation and penalties.
