What happens if my employer does not have Workers’ Compensation insurance?
If an employer does not carry required insurance, they may face civil penalties, fines, and enforcement action by the Delaware Department of Labor.
An uninsured employer may also be personally responsible for paying benefits owed to an injured employee.
