STEPS TO TAKE AFTER A WORKPLACE INJURY

Get first aid or visit an approved healthcare provider immediately. -
2Notify Your Employer:
Report the injury as soon as possible—ideally within 24 hours. -
3As an Employee:
You have two years to file a petition to appeal the denial of your claim.
For Employers

Ensure your employee gets the care they need. -
2Report the Injury Promptly:
Submit the “First Report of Injury” within 10 days of notification to your insurance carrier and the Department of Labor Industrial Affairs. -
3Prevent Future Incidents:
