STEPS TO TAKE AFTER A WORKPLACE INJURY

    Get first aid or visit an approved healthcare provider immediately.

    Notify Your Employer:
    Report the injury as soon as possible—ideally within 24 hours.

    As an Employee:
    You have two years to file a petition to appeal the denial of your claim.

    Submit the “First Report of Injury” within 10 days of notification to your insurance carrier and the Department of Labor Industrial Affairs.
