Join us for the Get Ready to Work: Teen Job Prep & Hiring Fair!

Looking for a summer job and not sure where to start?

What's Happening?

The event will kick off with a 45-minute Child Labor Law presentation led by the Office of Wage and Hour from the Delaware Department of Labor. This session will help teens and their parents understand workplace rights, responsibilities, and employment laws for young workers.

  • Teens – Learn about workplace laws, get your work permit, and meet hiring employers!
  • Parents – Gain insights into workplace protections for young workers.
  • Employers – Connect with motivated teens ready to work this summer.

After the presentation, attendees can explore the Job Fair, where local employers and community organizations will be hiring for summer youth positions. A Child Labor Specialist will also be onsite to issue work permits, ensuring teens can start working as soon as possible.
