Delaware’s Child Labor Laws help ensure young people can work safely while continuing their education. We provide guidance for employers, youth, parents, and workforce partners on work hours, permitted occupations, and safe workplace standards.

Hire Me! Youth Job Readiness Workshop & Job Fair

The Hire Me Youth Job Readiness Workshop & Job Fair is hosted by the Delaware Department of Labor, Office of Wage and Hour, and held at Delaware Technical Community College. This free event serves youth job seekers from all three Delaware counties.

Youth Workforce Connect Quarterly Call

Join the Delaware Department of Labor’s Office of Wage & Hour for the Delaware Youth Workforce Connect Call, a virtual session focused on youth employment and workforce readiness.

 

This event brings together community partners, state agencies, and organizations that support Delaware teens in the workplace. The goal is to improve communication, share resources, and strengthen collaboration across the state.
